Background
Duane started playing guitar and singing Classic Country and bluegrass with his grandparents at the age of 5. He grew to love rock bands such as Kiss, Aerosmith, Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath and blues rock such as ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton. This gave him the ability to play several genres of music.

- Local bands Smart Alex, Nuff Said, Billy Goat Gruff, Shepherdsville Country Music Show
- Won Louisville Guitar Center’s “King of the Blues” for 2011.
- Darren Warren Band (2005 - 2008) - opened for John Michael Montgomery, Travis Tritt, Rodney Atkins, Vince Gill, Emerson Drive, Mark Collie, and Darryl Worley.
- Played in 3 family music shows in West KY and local rock and country bands in the Paducah, KY area.
- Moved to Nashville in 1984 where he recorded demos that later became hits for Reba, Tanya Tucker and Michael Martin Murphy.
- Won 1st place in the state VICA talent contest my Senior year of high school (1981)
